Services & Activities

Our goal at Oak Grove is to minister to the entire family and to help you on your walk with Christ. We offer traditional worship services, Sunday school for all ages, and a Bible study along with mission and outreach programs.  We also have fun church outings for the whole family.

    Sunday School - 10am

    Sunday Morning Worship - 10:45am

    Sunday Evening Worship - 5pm (6pm during Daylight Savings Time)

    Wednesday Bible Study - 7pm

  • Worship Services

    Roger At Podium
     We offer two traditional worship services on Sunday.  Our morning service begins at 10:45 am and our evening service begins at 5pm.

    The worship services feature singing by our choir along with congregational hymns and specials.  All are welcome to join us in the choir or sing a special.

    The focus of both worship services is time spent in prayer and the reading of the Word of God with a sermon by our pastor.

  • Sunday School

    We offer Sunday School classes for all age groups, from nursery classes to Senior Adults.  All of our Sunday School classes use literature from Lifeway Christian resources and are designed to compliment each other.  This way parents and children can discuss what they learned in Sunday School and help each other learn.

    Sunday School begins at 10:00am each Sunday Morning.

  • Bible Study & Discussion

    Pastor Powell Teaching

    We invite you to join us every Wednesday night for a detailed study and discussion of the Bible.  We use learning tools in our study such as videos, music and maps to try to bring the message of the Bible to life, but nothing is more important than a reading of the word itself.  Questions and discussion are encouraged as we try to help each other learn more about God's word.

    The Bible Study & Discussion is every Wednesday night at 7pm.


In addition to our worship services, we also offer ways for you to get involved with church and impact your community.

WMU:: 

 The WMU - Women's Missionary Union - is a way for ladies of all ages to serve their community.  The WMU does community service such as collecting toys for needy children, food drives & more.  Their primary goal, though, is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ by supporting Missionaries abroad and at home.

 

YOUTH:

 Youth Summer Bash
Our youth group gives young people an opportunity to grow in the word of God as well as spend time in safe, fun fellowship.  With annual activities like our summer bash block party and the trips to the Ocoee Corn Maze, your young adults can make new friends and learn valuable life lessons.

MUSIC:

 Gail At PianoDo you like to sing?  Play an instrument? Whistle?  If so then you will feel right at home with our music ministry.  Our choir is open to anyone and everyone as is the opportunity to sing specials at our worship services.  You may hear a few of our members singing outside of church as well, performing at the senior center and other places.  We love to go forth and make a joyful noise unto the Lord!
